Announce a Release or Tour
No publicist? No problem. Answer six questions and tell us what you’re putting out: a new single, EP, album, video, tour, or show. We cover Vancouver and the surrounding scene, and a human reads every submission.
Who it’s for: Vancouver-area artists, labels, and publicists with something real and dated to announce.
What we need: the artist, what it is, a sentence or two in your own words, and at least one link (Bandcamp, the video, the ticket page, whatever’s the source of truth).
Every submission is reviewed by a human, usually within about two days, before anything appears on the site. Nothing you enter here goes live automatically.
How it gets published: announcements run in their own lane, clearly labelled “Submitted by the artist · reviewed and lightly edited by Quockerwodger Media”. They are not reviews and we don’t dress them up as our own reporting. We fix typos and tighten for length; your words stay your words. If something isn’t a fit we’ll tell you why, not leave you guessing. See our editorial standards for how we label everything.
