About the Shakers
There are several groups by this name:
1) The Shakers are a punk band out of Margate, FL.
2) The Shakers were an acoustic trio that became a popular group in the underground music scene in Nashville, TN, in the late 1980s. According to the group’s my space page:
Formed in 1986, The Shakers (Nashville) grew out of a desire to do a quickie side project based on the Tennessee legend of the Bell Witch. Oscar Rice and Robert Logue were members of rapidly rising Nashville rock group The Royal Court of China at the time
